About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Fortinet Network Security Professional to join our cybersecurity and infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Fortinet-based network security solutions, with a strong focus on OT (Operational Technology) environments, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and enterprise-grade firewalls. This role demands technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset to maintain and enhance our clients’ cybersecurity posture.

As a Fortinet Certified Professional, you will play a key role in delivering secure and resilient network architectures while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and engineering. You will also support pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting, contributing to solution architecture, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and manage Fortinet solutions including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiSwitch, and FortiAPs across enterprise and OT environments.
• Provide technical leadership in deploying and optimizing Fortinet Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions to secure cloud and hybrid network environments.
• Conduct network security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend Fortinet-based solutions to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define network security architectures aligned with compliance and business objectives.
• Lead or support the implementation of OT security frameworks, ensuring the secure operation of critical infrastructure and industrial control systems.
• Troubleshoot network security incidents and work with SOC and IT teams to ensure rapid detection, response, and resolution.
• Provide technical consulting support in pre-sales engagements, including POCs, solution architecture, and presentations focused on Fortinet products.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configuration standards, and incident response procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest Fortinet technologies, patches, and industry best practices for network security and OT environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network security, with hands-on expertise in deploying and managing Fortinet products.
• Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) and/or Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) certification(s) required.
• Deep understanding of firewall policies, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), antivirus, web filtering, and application control within Fortinet environments.
• Experience in securing OT/ICS networks using Fortinet solutions and best practices.
• Proven experience in SASE architecture implementation and Fortinet’s integration with cloud and on-prem environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, IPSec, SSL VPN, and NAT.
• Ability to analyze complex network issues and security incidents and develop appropriate responses.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-vendor security environments and Fortinet Fabric integrations.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or IEC 62443 for OT.
• Exposure to SIEM solutions, such as FortiSIEM, and threat intelligence platforms.
